Applicant data is stored using third-party platforms (Jotform) that employ industry-standard security practices.

Idle Hands uses reasonable safeguards including:

  • Limited access to application materials
  • Access restricted to Idle Hands leadership and selection committee

While no system can guarantee absolute security, Idle Hands takes appropriate steps to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of information.


Data Retention



Idle Hands retains applicant data for:
  • The duration of the application cycle
  • Up to three (3) years for internal program records

Data may be deleted, anonymized, or archived thereafter.
Applicants may request deletion of their data at any time.


Third-Party Services



Idle Hands uses third-party services for form collection, storage, and communication. These services operate under their own privacy policies.

Idle Hands is not responsible for the independent data practices of external platforms.
